Roesl`s Suitcase
In einem Koffer im Keller ihrer Mutter in Kalifornien fand die Filmemacherin Briefe und Dokumente, die davon erzählen, wie sich die Naziannexion von Österreich auf die Bevölkerung auswirkte. Es ist die Geschichte ihrer jüdischen Großmutter, die 1939 von Wien nach New York ging und der Ungereimtheiten in der Familiengeschichte, die der Koffer enthüllt. Demgegenüber steht der Briefwechsel mit der Großmutter während der psychedelischen 60er. Der Film verbindet die Aufnahmen dreier Generationen: die 1947 Filme der Großtante, die Tonaufnahmen der Tante über ihre Jugend in Wien und Lennard´s eigene Lightshow-Filme.
